Klaro is a lead generation service that connects users seeking probate assistance with SRA-regulated solicitors. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. All legal services are provided by the solicitor, not by us.

Klaro is a trading style of Black Swan Influence Ltd, registered in England & Wales (No. 11837421).

2. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be the executor, administrator, or someone acting on their behalf
• Be dealing with an estate based in the United Kingdom (England and Wales)

3. The Service We Provide

When you use our service, we:

• Collect information about your situation through our online form
• Match you with a suitable SRA-regulated probate solicitor in your area
• Facilitate the initial contact between you and the solicitor
• Follow up to ensure you received the help you need

We do NOT provide:

• Legal advice of any kind
• Guidance on probate matters
• Any regulated legal services

4. No Guarantee

While we strive to match you with the right solicitor, we:

• Do not guarantee any particular outcome for your probate matter
• Are not responsible for the solicitor’s advice, fees, or service quality
• Verify SRA registration but do not guarantee quality of service
• Cannot guarantee response times from solicitors

5. Your Obligations

When using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Be available for contact at the phone number and email you provide
• Deal directly with the solicitor for all legal matters
• Not misuse our service or provide false information

6. Fees

Our service is completely free for you to use.

Solicitor fees are separate and will be agreed directly between you and your matched solicitor. We recommend getting a clear, written quote before instructing any solicitor.

Our service is free for you to use. We are paid a referral fee by solicitors in our network when we introduce you to them. This does not affect the price you pay for legal services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Klaro or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any actions, advice, or services provided by solicitors
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed £100

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Complaints

Complaints about our service: If you have a complaint about Klaro, please contact us at hello@getklaro.co.uk and we will investigate and respond within 14 days.

Complaints about a solicitor: If you have a complaint about the legal services provided by a solicitor, you should first raise this with the solicitor directly. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Legal Ombudsman at legalombudsman.org.uk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
